With an investment of more than $15 million in new and improved stores in the Melton and Bacchus Marsh area over the past four years, Coles is excited to share the new market-style supermarket with the local community.

Coles will create 50 new jobs and an enhanced shopping experience when it unveils its refurbished and extended Bacchus Marsh supermarket this week.
Coles will welcome new team members across all areas of its new look store at The Village shopping centre, bringing the total number of team members to more than 170.
The refurbished store features an in-store bakery, which will offer flatbread made daily, patisserie items, and popular ‘naked bread’ options, as well as a continental delicatessen, olive bar and extended cheese selection
The store will continue to stock produce grown by local suppliers such as Parwan Valley Mushrooms, which employs around 100 people at Bacchus Marsh.
As part of the refurbishment, Bacchus Marsh shoppers can enjoy a quick and easy shopping experience with the addition of two new express registers, complementing Coles’ in-store customer service and self-service registers.
Store Manager Sean Aruliah has been with Coles for more than seven years and is looking forward to welcoming local residents to the new-look store.
“We’re committed to our local community and the changes to our store certainly reflects this. The team is excited to share a wide range of store upgrades to new and existing customers,” he said.
The Bacchus Marsh supermarket regularly supports the local community through fundraising initiatives, with team members most recently pitching in for a working bee and planting day to reinvigorate the Bacchus Marsh Primary School grounds as part of the Coles Helping Hands program.
Cutting a ribbon to officially re-open the store after its refurbishment will be long lerving team members Lyn Gorman, Karen Robinson and Joy Hawkridge, who have collectively worked at Coles for over 100 years.
Coles is located in the Village Shopping Centre and is open from 6am-10pm everyday.
